Scope of the Journal:

JIACAM accepts manuscripts on all aspects of child and adolescent mental health.

Peer Review Process:

Acknowledgement: Submitted manuscripts are acknowledged by email soon after receipt.

Editorial committee: All manuscripts are initially reviewed by the in-house editorial committee of JIACAM and those deemed unsuitable informed to the author(s), usually within 1 week.

Peer review: Manuscripts are sent to two or three experts. After reassessment by the editorial committee the reviewers' suggestions are conveyed to the author(s), usually within 4 weeks.

Revision: The revised manuscript has to be resubmitted within 2 - 4 weeks, highlighting the revisions made.

Acceptance/rejection: The final decision about publication is made by the Editor.
